Righteous was invited to join in with this dynamic inner-city ministry to primary school children in the Redfern/Waterloo area. Great rides, big smiles and one more ride please were the words of that morning.

Shorty, Scruf and Mario, who come from wild backgrounds, spoke to these inner city kids about their lives some of whom also come from wild backgrounds, about the difference that Christ makes to your life and how a life of petty crime is a dead end. We followed up with rides around the carpark and a BBQ lunch.

To cap it all off we gave the children going home in the old church bus an escort. The excited children yahooing and gesturing out of the windows of the bus, with a motorcycle escort winding it’s way through the housing commission areas of Redfern and Waterloo was a real sight.

Even for some of the leaders it was a first with rides and a different approach to the blessing of God to these needy children.
