What a perfect spring day. 25 degrees in the city, 30 degrees in the west and 15 at Katoomba.
Three of us met the Kings Cross Bikers at McDonalds M4West, slow to get going but eventually out on the road with about 20 bikes and off to Medlow Bath.
This run is to celebrate Animal (president of the Kings Cross Bikers) receiving his OAM from the G.G. last week at a ceremony at Hurstville.
Arriving at the historic hotel at Medlow Bath we were well received (not by the management but) by the tourists, busloads of Japanese schoolgirls.
A great meal, small talk and lots of photo's on the balcony overlooking the Jamieson Valley. Off to the Three Sisters for more photo's and we were the stars. Tourists wanted their photo's taken with the bikers (again). We did take some of our own photo's and Animal was certainly the star attraction with some of the tourists. The scenery was breathtaking as it always is in the Blue Mountains, and we had a great ride home. Eventful, fun, good times, no accidents and no fines, just what we want.
