What a turn out is was. Fathers day with clouds threatening and hail later in the day. We all made it there and home dry. Arriving, we were surprised to be greeted by not just CMA members but Ambassadors and Godsquad members as well, fantastic. People had ridden from as far away as Emu Plains, Thirlmere and Nowra. That's Awesome! To ride that far with threatening clouds on Fathers Day and maybe at most give some rides for some of the congregation. There are some really servant hearted Christians out there.
There was a great breakfast, for all of us as well as all the Church (around 350 people). Hot brewed coffee, bacon, eggs and hash browns, strawberries and cream. This church spared no expense for a good spread.
There was an excellent time of worship and followed by a dance item by the children followed by an overview of God's Squad's work by Neil Jansons. Wayne followed this up by an amazing overview of CMA's work and his testimony which was riveting. I was able to conclude with a small word on grace and the Fatherhood of God which tied in with Wayne's testimony.
As soon as the Pastor concluded the service there was a bee line for rides on the bikes and more fellowship and coffee. A great day, I think a first as the different Christian Clubs and CMA worked together to bring a blessing to the Church, unity and blessing.
